Vivalytic is a fully automated, universal platform for molecular diagnostics that can be used to conduct multiple tests from one patient sample.
The user collects and inputs the patient sample into a Vivalytic cartridge and slides it into the analyser. This initiates an automatic analysis and outputs the result of the analysis within 30-120 minutes.
My role was in defining and refining the design of the Vivalytic cartridge. Collecting, transporting and storing the patient sample within the cartridge was an essential element of creating a safe, efficient and easy experience for the doctor, nurse or clinician. Working within the regulatory standards, we created clear and concise labelling to prioritize the most relevant information.
